Every Crescent student benefits when surrounded by people of difference, whether cultural, ethnic, or socio-economic. With the rising cost of school tuition, a robust financial assistance program will ensure we can sustain the legacy of a Crescent education for future generations of students. Today, our endowment fund sits at $29 million, and our hope is to grow the fund exponentially. Our vision is that one day, Crescent School will be needs-blind and accessible to any boy of promise.
About Crescent School’s Endowed Financial Assistance
An endowment fund is a dedicated, permanent, and self-sustaining source of funding. Endowment assets are invested, and each year a portion of the generated income is paid out to support the fund’s purpose; any earnings in excess of this distribution are reinvested into the fund. In this way, an endowment fund can grow and provide support for its designated purpose in perpetuity. Over 90% of Crescent’s endowment fund is used to support financial assistance. This sustainable funding source helps ensure ongoing support for students in need, providing access to education for generations to come.
