COMMUNITY HALL
A new, state-of-the-art Community Hall will become the very heart of our campus. More than a dining hall, it will be a glowing beacon that nurtures and celebrates the spirit of community that defines Crescent School.
Features
The state-of-the-art Community Hall will provide much-needed space for the over 1,000 students and staff to enjoy lunch each day. The Community Hall will be bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows that connect students to the outdoors. Generously scaled with soaring ceilings and an abundance of natural light, it will be an inspiring space for students to enjoy lunch together. As the only GTA school with a full-service lunch program included in tuition, Crescent warrants a grand space for shared meals and social interaction.
Standalone Servery
A standalone servery with a state-of-the-art kitchen will support an enhanced food services program before, during, and after school. Our new kitchen will house modern equipment to support scratch and batch cooking for a unique menu of food and beverage offerings for our dining and catering services. A separate servery enables the Community Hall to serve as a flexible and adaptable gathering space.

The distinct servery and open kitchen is a significant strategic shift for this space. The servery will have an open view of the kitchen connecting the food students eat each day and the care, attention and effort that goes into preparing the meals. The servery/kitchen area is easily cordoned off when meal service is not taking place, providing unlimited flexibility to the community hall for meeting and events of all kinds. Seating configuration and varying styles of tables support different types of connection and community gathering.
Leave Your Mark on the New Community Hall
We are appealing to our alumni to raise $3 million for the Alumni Community Hall naming opportunity. Over $2 million has already been raised toward our goal. Alumni who donate over $5,000 will be recognized with a special donor plaque in the Community Hall.
